2024 Recap: Rad Drink for a Rad Cause

Each month Axelrad donates profits of a drink to a local organization that’s doing great work in the community. Here are our 2024 picks!

January: YMCA International Services and the Trafficked Persons Assistance Program

Assist victims of human trafficking, regardless of their legal status. The program provides direct client services and raises awareness in the community through education and outreach.

February: A beloved member of the Houston Beer Community.

We raised to help with medical expenses for their child who was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma.

March: I'll Have What She's Having.

A group in Houston raising community awareness and funds in support of better health in the food and beverage industry.

April: Bayou Village School.

Provides Houston families with an inclusive, accessible, holistic education in a diverse urban setting.

May: La Tiendita.

Neighbors in need are able to go to La Tiendita to receive food assistance, as well as guidance regarding available social, educational, and workforce development services.

June: Pride Houston.

Price Houston promotes public awareness of the need for diversity and equal rights , and celebrates the history of the gay, lesbian, trans and queer community.

July: Yellow Rose Montessori.

Providing education based on peace and global awareness with a child-centered, hands-on holistic approach.

August: The Jordan Project Ministries.

A prayer and giving ministry. Their mission is to be in service to the least of them. At some point in all our lives, we were the least of them.

September: DACAMERA.

Internationally recognized as a leading producer and presenter of chamber music and jazz. DACAMERA programs create connections  among musical genres, art forms and ideas; between people and places; between the past and the present.

October: Fresh Arts.

An organization that empowers local artists.

November: Rescued Pets Movement.

Their mission is to provide a second chance for thousands of homeless dogs and cats through rescue, rehabilitation, and transport to forever homes in communities throughout the United States that have a demand for adoptable pets.

December: Deeds Not Words.

Through building a strong foundation of empowered leaders, amplifying collective voices, and reshaping cultural norms, Deeds Not Words aims to dismantle oppressive systems and cultivate a society where equity and justice thrive.
